The Concierge Approach
Designer-quality results without the hassle of managing it all yourself
Whether you work full-time, are a busy parent, or are drowning in decision fatigue (or all three!), you don't have the bandwidth to pick paint colors or babysit a contractor's schedule. We narrow every decision, from decor to a full-scale renovation, down to five or fewer options, manage the back-and-forth communication with all the trades, and make sure it all comes together into a home that actually feels like yours.
Personal assessment: Our portfolio isn't one style, because your home shouldn't be either. We sit down with you and talk through the work you want done and how you want your home to feel. We figure out your style together, then design from there.
Collaboration: Once we have a direction, we’ll start collaborating on Pinterest boards and trading more specific ideas back and forth. We want to make your house feel like a home, together, and that’s true whether you’re renovating a room, an entire home, or you’re simply looking for a new rug and lamp to freshen up a space.
Project management: Love the idea of a renovation, dread the logistics? We manage every detail of your renovation, start to finish. You get the new space — we take on the phone tag. We:
vet the contractors
manage and compare their proposals to present to you
coordinate the contractors’ schedules once the work begins
consolidate all communication through us so you don’t have to answer endless phone calls or texts
visit your home morning and afternoon to assess progress, ensure a clean job site and quality work, and answer any questions you have
go over the punchlist with the contractor(s) once the work is complete to make sure no detail was missed

Meet Katherine Hilton
I'm a mom of four, a former project manager with 30+ years at corporations where I learned how to manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and the thousand small details that make a big project actually come together.
The whole time, though, I was the friend who couldn't stop rearranging furniture, even at the office! I spent years pouring that energy into my own home, and eventually into friends' and family's homes too. Spoiler alert: It turns out, a well-run renovation isn't so different from a well-run corporate project; it just needs someone who loves the details as much as the vision.
Now I get to do full-time what I used to sneak in on weekends: help people fall in love with their homes again.

In-Person Services
We work in person around metro Birmingham-Hoover, Ala. We are hands-on from start to finish.
Remote & Travel
Remotely everywhere else. Limited travel's possible too, depending on the project; we'll figure out what works for both of us!
